What You Will Do

Manages a complex category of significant scale. Leads market/consumer research and competitive intelligence and uses these insights to provide thought leadership on the development of mid-long term strategic plans and portfolio management for key business units. Oversees critical processes related to portfolio management, business planning, market research, new product development and roll out and business performance tracking for the key business unit.Develops leads and ensures execution of business plans against key objectives with a view to delivering against the financial commitments for key business units. Responsible for managing teams of marketing professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champions the gathering of market and consumer insights required for the development and growth of key business units.
  • Uses market and competitor information to complete analysis in the areas of market size, market growth, brand and category penetration, product preferences and potential, market coverage, market trend etcprepare market projections and portfolio recommendations (current and future).
  • Solicits input from a wide range of stakeholders and functions (including Finance) as part of the portfolio planning process.
  • Provides strategic insight and leadership for key brands in the portfolio, ensuring the brand visions and strategic imperatives are aligned to the portfolio strategy and are understood and supported by all stakeholders.
  • Leads team to ensure development and delivery of consumer relevant marketing mixes that are built on consumer insights and deliver value. Collaborates with regional teams where such marketing mixes deviate from global brand directives.
  • Leads team to ensure development and delivery of annual marketing plans that will deliver NTS, GP, and brand contribution requirements.
  • Leads team to ensure delivery of sustainable and meaningful product pipelines.
  • Leads team to ensure delivery of NPD projects on time and in full, ensuring they deliver NTS and GP aspirations.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal work partners / cross functional teams at a senior level (Customer, Supply Chain, Project Team, R&D, Prof Marketing).
  • Builds effective relationships with Kenvue regional and global work partners through ongoing open communications with franchise and WW teams.
  • Builds effective relationships with external work partners and agencies at a senior level.
  • Overall accountability for financial / P&L performance of portfolio (top line and bottom line).
  • Develops team and manages talent for the future.
  • Contributes to the leadership of Kenvue.
  • Acquire knowledge of the Quality Management System that have been deployed at the SSA Marketing Company and the relevant Quality System Procedures that are applicable to the job through inclusion of related processes and procedures in individual training plan. Maintain 100 % adherence to training plan timelines and ensure appropriate application of relevant Quality and Compliance processes and procedures to the job. Report any non-compliances or deviations to the Business Quality & Compliance Head.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree required,
  • 10+ years related experience which includes the leadership / management of mini portfolios as well as a proven track record in leadership of people / teams
