- Matric certificate plus a Degree in Political Sciences/Law/Public Policy or equivalent relevant qualification at National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 7 as recognised by South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
- A postgraduate qualification in Political Sciences/Law/Public Policy or equivalent relevant qualification will be an added advantage at NQF level 8
- Minimum of 2 years experience in research environment
- Working knowledge of data collection, analyses, findings reporting and dissemination thereof.
- Knowledge of Acts, Regulations, Policies and Procedures governing the public sector
- Basic knowledge of office administration and interaction with clients and stakeholders.
- Render necessary internal research support by means of well researched insights or inputs into reports, research papers, policy documents or papers.
- Conduct environmental scan analysis.
- Ensure the dissemination of research findings and recommendations
- Conduct and contribute towards comprehensive literature reviews
- Draft data collection instruments or questionnaires.
- Render necessary support on the Regulators policy initiatives.
- Provide logistical and research administrative support services within the subdivision.
