Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to staff via phone, email, or in person
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, software, and peripherals
- Assist with network setup, troubleshooting, and security monitoring
- Perform routine system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance
- Support IT inventory management and documentation
- Help set up workstations for new employees
- Troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other office equipment
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary
- Comprehensive knowledge of Windows/Mac OS environments
- Understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, or cloud platforms
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL Foundation)
- Reliable and organized
- Quick learner with a willingness to grow
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Drivers license and own car
