Tech Project Coordinator
Location: Cape Town, Northern Suburbs (candidates must reside in Cape Town)
Our client a consulting and tech firm helping financial services companies reinvent their businesses for the digital and AI age.
Were looking for someone who understands project management principles (Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid) and ideally holds a recognised certification such as CAPM or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project accounting, including tracking budgets, costs, and financial progress.
- Maintain and update all project documentation in line with internal standards.
- Assist with project monitoring, control, and reporting activities.
- Prepare project presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, take minutes, and manage follow-ups.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth communication and project alignment.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Enterprise Project Manager.
- Project Management certification (CAPM or equivalent).
- 13 years of experience in a project coordination role.
- Strong understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with tools such as Jira, MS Projects, or Smartsheet advantageous.
