We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to provide comprehensive IT support and effectively manage our in-house student portal and all systems utilized at our College. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT desktop support, along with the ability to configure, maintain, and oversee all IT-related matters. This role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including order and setup of IT equipment, maintaining and updating IT asset registers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our information systems.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum National Diploma or equivalent IT qualification/certification

Proficiency in Database Management Systems, specifically ICAS

Minimum of 3 years experience in a corporate environment providing IT support functions

Proven experience in implementing policies and new systems and procedures

Responsibilities

Processes and Internal Controls:

Implement and maintain systems to ensure the integrity of the database management systems

Manage information systems to optimize performance and security

Desktop Support

Set up ICAS and our in-house student portal systems for all users

Address queries and provide technical assistance to both staff and students

Facilitate the onboarding process for students via SMS, Telegram, and WhatsApp groups

Ensure all students and staff have access to their MS Office 365 accounts

Training

Training of students and staff of systems

General

Update and maintain the IT asset register to accurately track and manage our technology resources

Log and respond to all incoming communication promptly and efficiently
