Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the role is to bring technical expertise for Digital Operations applications. Youll work within the Digital Operations Organisation to understand the impact of changes on the application and on other systems. The technical architect will be an expert in his domain. He will also advise on the future development of the GEM application landscape, considering TMFs strategy and newly available technologies.
The candidate should have experience of a matrix approach to working, collaborating with colleagues across teams. You will also be a team-player who can inspire colleagues to drive positive performance and behaviours.
Job Responsibilities
- End to end functional system review for changes
- Responsible for providing technical expertise to our internal customers (the business users)
- Vendor management liaison with 3rd party applications/vendors to coordinate technical aspects around solutioning in line with global frameworks and criteria around security, functionality, scalability, and any other critical performance criteria
- Work with stakeholders in regions who provide GEM services to ensure requirements are captured accurately and solution considerations are designed to meet business needs
- Collaborate with the business to align the value proposition and business objectives with an adequate technology roadmap which meets those goals and delivers value-added outcomes. Translate business and technology requirements into architected technical solution or configuration
- Pivotal role in aligning Global business, local operations and the IT delivery and support function.
- Coordinates and unblocks technology issues with facilitation and engagement across the wider Global Delivery organization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong reasoning, analytical and strategizing Skills.
- Degree in Computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical, trouble shooting, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on Experience in writing SQL queries.
- Demonstrated technical excellence ability to articulate, solve, and close on technical problems.
- Ability to multitask and work with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently as well as a good team player as per project need.
- Good all-round knowledge on any ERP application knowledge of Viewpoint will give a head start.
- ITIL certification is a plus
- High-energy team player with excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
