ENVIRONMENT:
BE responsible for a Disaster Recovery Technical team, Daily DR operations, client meetings and Hosting Infrastructure Networking as your technical expertise as an Infrastructure Engineer is sought by a fast-paced Data and Cybersecurity Specialist to join its Joburg division. The ideal candidate will possess basic managerial ability and strong communication skills. You will require a solid understanding and experience with Networking including Routing, Layer 2 Tunnels, Firewalling, Subnetting, etc. You must have experience in hardware installation at a Data Centre level, VMware, vCloud Director, Hyper-V, experience with any other Hypervisors, Virtual Networks, Virtual Network Appliance and experience with products including Acronis, Cohesity, Veeam, VMware, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL and Active Directory.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good understanding and experience with Networking including Routing, Layer 2 Tunnels, Firewalling, Subnetting, etc.
- Hypervisor experience including VMware, vCloud Director, Hyper-V, experience with any other Hypervisors, Virtual Networks, Virtual Network Appliance.
- Software experience including Acronis, Cohesity, Veeam, VMware, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL, Active Directory.
- Hardware experience such as Data Centre.
- Must reside in Johannesburg.
- Own transport required.
- Some after-hours work required.
