We are seeking a Junior Installation Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing security systems, including CCTV and alarm systems, at client sites. This role requires a self-motivated and dependable individual who can work independently and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other electronic security equipment
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on installed systems
- Ensure installations are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule
- Conduct site assessments and follow installation plans and technical specifications
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Provide excellent customer service and support during on-site visits
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition
- Adhere to all company and regulatory safety standards
- PSIRA registered (minimum Grade C)
- Valid Code 08 drivers license
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of reliability, honesty, and self-discipline
- Previous experience in security system installation (advantageous, but not essential)
- Experience with a variety of CCTV and alarm brands
- Technical certification or training in security systems
