• Profit Pioneer: You'll lead the charge to achieve insurance targets and maintain profitability, collaborating with internal departments and liaising with marketing to devise marketing actions that fuel our success.
• Financial Wizard: You'll prepare and manage the overhead budget with finesse, ensuring expenses are kept in check while setting targets for your team.
• Innovation Guru: You'll continuously enhance our portfolio of products, keeping an eye on the market to develop competitive offerings that stand out from the crowd.
• Compliance Champion: Staying on top of the latest legislation and compliance topics is crucial. You'll ensure that we're always in line with the regulatory requirements and make adjustments as needed.
• Relationship Builder: Managing relationships is a key part of the role. You'll work closely with service providers, insurers, and other partners to ensure a sustainable, long-term relationship for our insurance business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: A 4-year university degree is a must.
• Insurance Expertise: Experience in insurance, actuarial science, or banking will set you apart.
• Procurement Pro: Knowledge of procurement and supplier relationship management is advantageous.
• Industry Insight: A deep understanding of the retail finance and motor industry is highly desirable.
• Technical Know-How: Familiarity with insurance product development, cell captive insurance, and reinsurance is a plus.
• Regulatory Compliance: You must be FAIS compliant (including Regulatory Examinations RE1 AND RE5) and have a good grasp of insurance regulation.
• Business Acumen: We're looking for someone with excellent business acumen and a track record of driving success.
• Key Individual: You should hold the relevant certificate-qualification to be a key individual.
