Were on the lookout for an experienced Innovation Intelligence Analyst to assist with shaping the research agenda around emerging technologies for new or existing projects, uncovering novel insights and helping to test more ambitious ways of achieving our strategic goals. This global role will also assist to establish technology, patent landscapes and conducting Freedom to Operate (FTO) reviews supporting the in-house Intellectual Property Officer.
As an Innovation Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Map trends in innovation systems.
- Understand the technology roadmap to work out the scouting direction.
- Evaluate and report on the benefits and potential risks of emerging technologies and future trends.
- Identify early-stage trends, technologies and ideas and identify and assess opportunities.
- Anaylse patent databases and prepare parent landscape reports
- Monitor the patent portfolio of the competitors.
- Assist in Freedom to Operate (FTO) analysis on targeted processes, product applications and technologies.
- Engineering Diploma or a Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or Material Sciences.
- 2-3 years in a similar role or environment
- Advanced report writing experience
- Experience in patent searches and freedom to operate analysis
- Reside within the similar time zone to CET
- Experience in process automatization
- Expertise in paper or pulp technology, at least in Chemistry
- Intellectual Property training will be provided
