Technology Interaction Designer

We are seeking a talented and passionate Technology Interaction Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Technology Interaction Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centric interfaces and interactions across various digital platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences that align with our product vision and business objectives. You will also be responsible for creating the design library for the platform we are developing. This will be a three-month project with a high probability of extension.

Requirements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and designers to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.
• Design and prototype user interfaces, interactions, and experiences for web and mobile applications using industry-standard design tools and methodologies.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs based on user insights.
• Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and provide support during the implementation phase.
• Create and maintain design guidelines, patterns, and design systems to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies in interaction design and user experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5-7 years) as an Interaction Designer, User Experience Designer, or similar role within the technology industry.
• Experience in the airline or retail industry
• Past experience working with well know global brands is a plus
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into design improvements.
