Sanlam Group Technology is responsible for the provision of a digitally enabled technology service as a group COE, drive business and transformation and provide group-wide digital and data architecture. We operate the various technology platforms and shared services, ensure Cyber and Information Security resilience, and act as technology governance and risk orchestrator for technology across Sanlam.
What will you do?
Responsible for the timely and effective response to IT user queries and problems through the receipt and logging of problems and the co-ordination of rapid and appropriate responses for basic problem resolution for new and existing systems, and provides basic telephonic training on these systems when required. Escalates more complex problems but may manage the incident to completion. Identifies interim and long term solutions and provides regular updates to the Senior Problem Analyst. Participates in internal forums and work groups to contribute to the methodology and standards.

- Assist with reviewing and compiling service or work schedules.
- Liaising with business or vendors on onboarding and internal processes i.e. due diligence and providing agreement templates.
- Managing and completing the contract spreadsheet.
- Assisting with legal research.
- Follow up on vendors and business on IT contractual matters.
- Load agreements on QuicklySign for signatures.
- Managing and updating the end user license agreements spreadsheet.
- Managing updates and assisting business regarding risk waiver or acceptance requests.
- Liaising and scheduling bi-monthly meetings with the Risk team and documenting the updates.
- Manage Vendor B-BBEE certificates and upload.
- Manage and upload the teams contracts on the teams folder or SharePoint.
- Handle agreement requests including but not limited to NDA requests from business or SASER.
- Update savings tracker.
- Document the departments processes in PowerPoint.
- Assist in the administration of the IT Sourcing Process.
- Coordinating forums and associated meetings.
- Tracking confirmation of attendance.
- Requesting for agenda points and compiling of agendas for appropriate forums.
- Preparation and coordinating meeting packs prior to the commencement of meetings.
- Reserving venues and associated logistics (e.g. VC, catering and parking arrangements) for participants.
- Professional minute taking requirements or the various business forums.
- Timeous and accurate storage of minutes and associated documentation which is online and available for immediate interrogation either during or
- after a meeting, which is permissions based.
- Allocate actions upon meeting incumbents to ensure feedback and to ensure that follow up becomes an automated process.
