Purpose of Position:

To ensure the maintenance; development and improvement of the quality and safety management systems. To evaluate whether quality and safety activities and related results comply with the requirements to achieve the objectives set out in the quality and safety manuals.

Requirements:

Certificate: Internal Auditor (ISO), Grade 12, HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, National Diploma: Biomedical Technology

Required Experience:

Accreditation experience, Experience in pathology laboratory environment, Internal / external auditing experience, Knowledge: Accreditation processes / procedures, Knowledge: Ampath QC procedures, Knowledge: Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: ISO, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), Knowledge: Open Office

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and perform internal audit tasks, for on-site or remote audits, in order to identify nonconformities., Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform administrative tasks for TQM trainings to ensure relevant staff competency levels are upheld, Perform administrative tasks in order to ensure correct recording and handling of audit data and departmental documentation, Perform SANAS required administration duties for assessment applications to ensure quality standards are adhered to.
