Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing compelling internal communication materials (newsletters, announcements, campaigns).
- Collaborate with teams to align messaging with Edge Growths values and strategy.
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Utilize digital channels (email, SharePoint, WhatsApp) to distribute content and track engagement.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance communication strategies and improve employee experience.
- Conduct research on best practices in internal communications and recommend improvements.
- South African citizen
- A recent graduate with a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency essential).
- Creativity and a knack for crafting engaging, culturally relevant content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital communication tools.
- Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude.
- Passion for storytelling, employee engagement, and fostering an inclusive workplace.
- Prior experience in communications, marketing, or a similar role (even as a volunteer or student).
- Understanding of the South African business and cultural landscape.
