Internal Sales Consultant

Sandton based IT Company is urgently looking for an Internal Sales Consultant. Plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
• Initiate and follow up the sales process from initial contact phase till closure
• Research and analyse sales options and identify business opportunities
• Serve as point of contact for customers and answer their service related queries in person and on the phone
• Reach or exceed weekly sales target
• Generate referral business by mining existing clientele
• Develop and maintain productive business relationships with all prospects, partners and clients
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales collateral suitable for target market
• Conduct product training
• Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
• Participate in sales events
• Monitor competitors, market conditions
• Help walk in sales customers
Education and Experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales Department
• Excellent communication skills in English with proven persuasive power
• First-rate computer skills, telephone etiquette and work ethic
• Self-motivated individual with strong business acumen, good time management and task prioritization skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure on strict deadlines
• Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
• Knowledge of customer service principles
• Knowledge of basic business principles
• Adaptability

• Goal driven
Basic is R6500.00-R7000.00 depending on experience. Incentive of R2000.00 for first 3 months. After that there will be commission based on targets achieved.
Must have matric, with a clear criminal record and be willing to go for a Polygraph.
