Responsibilities
- Excellent management of our portfolios/funds, as evidenced by the proactive and optimal management of client, benchmark, and market-initiated events, so as to fulfil our clients' mandates.
- Improving our investment process to minimise the occurrence of errors and to improve both individual and team productivity/efficiency.
- Proactive and professional engagement with clients and service providers (internal and external) to ensure excellent management of our portfolios/funds.
- Excellent and proactive management and resolution of exceptions in our fund management process.
- Conduct research and analysis as required by existing and potential clients.
- Fulfil any client reporting requirements, accurately and within their deadlines.
- Appropriate degree with quantitative focus e.g., Math/Stats/Accounting/Investments
- 3-5 Years of experience in financial services
- Meet FAIS requirements (preferable)
- Thorough understanding of the investment environment and financial markets; equity, fixed income and derivative markets both domestic and international
- Quantitative and financial modelling experience
- A good understanding of operational processes, various market settlement windows, benchmarks, mandates, tracking errors, compliance and order management systems
- Advanced knowledge of excel
