Join a well stablished and reputable company who focus on IT security products including end point protection, Firewalls and end user monitoring. This established company also distributes Network Monitoring tools including NetFlow and Application Performance monitoring solutions. Further cable infrastructure test and installation tools are also part of the portfolio.
This company is going through substantial growth and needs to grow its footprint. There is a lack of traction in the Cape Town region. A plan needs to be applied that creates awareness in the region of what the company does. There is a strong need for the company to be in front of partners and end customers in the region.
The candidate we are looking for will be well known in the region and have a good track record with broad IT knowledge. IT security, network monitoring should be fairly well understood.
The candidate should be passionate and have initiative. Most importantly the candidate should be self-driven. This is a very senior sales role, with view to move into management once established.
Candidate qualifications
The candidate must have at least Microsoft or Cisco qualifications that include networking and security.
- A business related qualification will help
- At least 5 years’ experience sales - new business development
- Must have great business acumen
- A large number of contacts within the Cape Town region.
