Minimum Requirements
BTech or Advanced Diploma NQF Level 8 in Electronic Engineering.
New entrants are welcome to apply if they have the above qualification.
Must Have The Ability To Learn To
- Design, simulate, program and complete test bench PCB design and routing used for testing Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) according to specifications provided; and
- Follow the defined test bench design processes and document design according to hardware design plan; and
- Take part in peer reviews of test benches; and
- Test and validate LRUs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (DO-160, MIL-STD-704); and
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to test bench design and performance.
Have sound knowledge of: Schematic design, PCB design, simulation of circuits, analysis of circuits and basic programming knowledge.
Non-negotiable Skills Needed Upon Application
- Schematic design, PCB design, simulation of circuits and analysis of circuits; and
- Embedded firmware programming skills (C preferred); and
- General programming skills in Python and or other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of National Instruments LabVIEW.
- Knowledge of QT.

Already reside in the Cape Town region, or be willing to relocate to Cape Town on own cost.
