Requirements
- Proven experience in partner relationship management, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and resellers.
- Demonstrated ability in sales planning and strategy, with a track record of achieving revenue targets and expanding product presence within partner portfolios.
- Strong background in business development, identifying new business opportunities, emerging trends, and market shifts to drive growth.
- In-depth product knowledge, particularly in the technology sector, with the ability to effectively communicate value propositions to partners.
- Experience in deal management, including handling sales opportunities, quotes, and orders with timely and accurate processing.
- Conflict resolution skills, with a demonstrated ability to resolve partner-related issues effectively and maintain communication.
- Proficiency in reporting and analytics, with the ability to track sales performance and provide insights to improve partner engagement.
- Capability to facilitate training and enablement, ensuring partners are well-informed on product offerings.
- Proven track record of aligning reseller opportunities to distributors, specifically within the South African market.
- Extensive experience in business development and relationship management within the distribution and reseller channels.
- Demonstrated success in generating and increasing opportunities to maximize sales within the channel.
- Strong ability in sales forecasting and strategic planning, particularly on a quarterly basis.
- Experience in facilitating training and product knowledge sessions for sales teams and partners.
- Proficient in implementing, executing, and tracking sales targets and marketing activities per quarter.
- Ability to assist resellers with aligning the correct products to client requests, including competitive pricing strategies.
- Skilled in leading, motivating, coaching, and developing sales teams, with experience in managing the Lenovo SMB product portfolio.
