Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing creditor and debtor accounting, maintaining the cash book, and ensuring accurate financial records. This role requires strong analytical skills, a commitment to compliance, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to support the companys financial health and growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage creditor and debtor accounts, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Reconcile supplier statements and customer accounts.
- Maintain and update the cash book daily.
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy of cash transactions.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare accurate financial records in line with accounting standards.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and provide financial insights to management.

Qualifications & Skills
- National Senior Certificate or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience of at least 5 years in creditor/debtor accounting and cash book management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP) and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
