A leading consulting house for the banking and insurance industries is looking for an experienced Management Consultant to join their team at a managerial level.

A typical day for a Manager will include:
- Delivery on critical projects by playing a Senior role on consulting engagements with clients.
- Taking responsibility for the successful delivery of projects.
- Solving complex industry specific problems.
- Identifying opportunities to grow with existing and new clients.
- Conducting business and data analysis.
- Designing and implementing management reports and dashboards.
- Writing, reading and analysing various computer programming languages.
- Continuously developing business knowledge and technical skills.
- Hold a relevant university degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Data, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics, with a strong preference for a post graduate qualification.
- Have five years or more relevant experience in the insurance industry.
- Have subject matter knowledge in banking and/or insurance.
- Have demonstratable experience in successfully delivering on projects
- Have experience leading project teams
- Good technical skills, including experience with tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, R and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Will be someone that is dynamic, adaptive and a thought leader. Someone that is hands-on, with strong problem-solving and out the box thinking. Someone with strong emotional intelligence and team leadership, as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines. This person needs to be polished, well-presented and able to communicate clearly with key business stakeholders.
