Payroll and Administration Assistant

One of our clients, a reputable audit and advisory firm specialising in outsourcing payroll, secretarial, and deceased estate administration services is currently recruiting for a Payroll and Administrative Assistant to join their team in Greenside, Johannesburg. Minimum Requirements
  • Matric (Business Studies as a subject would be advantageous)
  • Beneficial: Relevant Tertiary Qualification.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics.
  • Vehicle and valid Driver License.
  • 1 year experience within a similar position.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Complete PAYE registration processes for clients.
  • Assist in UIF registration procedures.
  • Support in WCC registration tasks.
  • Compile and pull payroll reports for auditing purposes.
  • Execute basic payroll processing tasks.
  • Aid in EMP201 and EMP501 submissions.
  • Assist in ROE (Remuneration of Employees) submissions.
  • Follow up on outstanding annual return payments.
  • Scan and organise trust files efficiently.
  • Perform general administrative functions as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the payroll administrator, secretarial officer, and deceased administrator to ensure smooth operations.
  • Act as a right-hand assistant to the deceased administrator, particularly during the startup phase of the Deceased Estates division.
