Role Overview
We are seeking a Bookkeeping & Administration Officer to support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the group.
This role is execution-focused and critical to ensuring that financial records are accurate, up to date, and well organised to support cashflow management and reporting.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure clean data, smooth operations, and strong financial discipline across the group.
Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Finance Support
- Capture and process daily financial transactions in the accounting system (e.g. Sage / Xero)
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations
- Process supplier invoices and customer invoices
- Maintain accurate aged debtors and aged creditors
- Allocate expenses and income to the correct entities and cost centres
- Maintain proper supporting documentation and audit trails
- Manage and organise contracts, invoices, and finance-related documentation
- Support basic payroll administration (data preparation only)
- Assist with internal reporting and data requests
- Coordinate with external accountants and service providers when required
- 25 years experience in bookkeeping and administration
- Experience using Sage, Xero, or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working across multiple entities or projects
- Good Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to project-based or multi-entity environments
- Experience supporting finance teams remotely
- Understanding of basic VAT / tax concepts (preparation only)
- Up-to-date and accurate financial records at all times
- Clean bank reconciliations with no backlogs
- Clear visibility of payables and receivables
- Well-organised financial documentation
- Finance team able to rely on accurate data for decision-making
