Our client is a consulting company specialising in environmental sustainability. The company was established nearly 20 years ago and has played a pivotal role in supporting preservation initiatives across multiple continents. As the CEO, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, to expand the companys growth by establishing a strategic direction and managing daily operations.

The ideal candidate would be passionate about environmental issues, who is detail-oriented with a strong commitment to precision and excellence in their work. Additionally, you should excel in interpersonal relationships and place a high value on employee and client well-being and satisfaction.

This role is a hybrid position that currently requires one day in office per week.

Minimum Requirements

A Master's or higher educational qualification in a pertinent field is preferred.

Minimum of 5-10 years in a leadership capacity, preferably at a senior management level.

Previous experience in a consultancy setting, with an understanding of billable hours dynamics.

Familiarity with the bidding process will be viewed as an advantage.

Duties And Responsibilities

Plan and execute strategic direction for the organisation.

Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient team performance.

Be a custodian of the company's financial resources to guarantee its sustainability.

Lead business development initiatives, securing projects, and forging pivotal partnerships.

Integrate innovation into our approach towards climate change adaptation and mitigation projects.

Be the face of the company at significant meetings, conferences, and events.

Uphold and elevate the companys performance standards, ensuring set targets are met.

Oversee the bidding procedure for new project acquisition.

Engage in open and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Lead the team, fostering a positive, productivity-centric work environment.

Assure clients of the highest quality in project delivery standards.

Establish processes for the effective allocation of consultants' billable hours.
