Job Description

Purpose:

To ensure cleaning, stocking, and supplying cleaning materials to designated facilities at Chrysalis Academy.

Roles and Responsibilities

Ensure that the Academys facilities are cleaned and well-maintained (halls, hostels, classrooms, outdoor and tented campsites);
Ensure that the venues and ablutions across multiple venues are cleaned and well-maintained;
Ensure that the walls, floors & windows are cleaned and well maintained;
Replenish sanitation in venues;
Assist with setting up and mopping up of certain venues as needed; and
Ad-hoc responsibilities assigned within the Academy.

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

A certificate in Cleaning Services will be advantageous;
At least 3 5 years relevant cleaning experience (Industrial cleaning equipment);
Understanding the holistic approach to youth development;
Non-smoker leading a healthy and sober lifestyle; and
Competent (verbal and written) in English and at least 1 other South African language.
