Commercial Manager International Roaming

Role Purpose

To provide the Wholesale team with commercial support in the management of the wholesale international roaming business

Drive wholesale revenue and cost optimisation for the international roaming business

Commercial and financial management of Inter-Operator Tariff (IOT) discount deals

Prepare financial year budgets considering market and consumer mobility trends

Financial performance reporting of the wholesale international roaming business against the budget

Management of suppliers to the wholesale international roaming business

Prepare and lead potential RFx tender submissions

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Business decision support

Provide accurate and up-to-date financial models that support the management of the business

Provide financial models and analysis to support various funding initiatives using structured financing products

Build business case scenarios to address changes in the telco industry and regulatory environments

Financial performance analysis and reporting

Provide accurate and up to date financial models

Prepare financial analysis and advice for ad-hoc proposals as required by the team to support negotiations

Work together with the Business Intelligence team to create reports for performance analysis

Work together with the Business Intelligence team to refine the profitability tool and do margin analyses per IOT deal

Create / update reporting templates for financial performance

Monthly operational reporting and budgeting support

Support VB FP&A team with month end reporting process and explain variances between actual and forecasted figures

Support the VB FP&A team by providing detailed models and data for budgets and forecasts

Support VB FP&A and VSA Finance with ad-hoc management information and analysis

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Science, Accounting is preferred

Experience

Minimum 5 years relevant experience

At least 2 years advanced commercial modelling and financial management experience

roven ability to communicate financial results to SLT
