Control Room Operator (CCTV) - Middelburg

A vacancy exists in Middelburg as a Control Room Operator, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade B PSIRA (SOB) registered and accredited, with traceable references
• Own reliable transport.
• Computer Literacy in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc) and CCTV Operating Systems.
• Strong organizational skills, as well as good interpersonal communication and liaison skills are essential.
• Must be able to work under pressure and for extended hours as and when required
• Work independently and within a team.
• A minimum of two years experience in the security industry Control room
• Fluent in English
• No criminal record
• Must be reliable and trustworthy
• Must reside in the Middelburg area.

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):

• Informing duty managers of incidents as and when required
• Dispatching of guards
• Ensuring that all sites are covered
• Able to record all incidents in a Occurrence Book (OB) as well as in a Electronic OB
• Receiving complaints and informing management accordingly
• Able to transfer knowledge to guards accordingly
• Able to exercise and maintain discipline
• Able to follow instructions accurately
