Job Description

Job Family Definition:

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the companys solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organizations profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.

Management Level Definition

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

HPE Communication & Technology Group (CTG) inside Enterprise Group Organization is the unit in HPE dedicated to provide End-to-End solutions to the Telco customers, Content and Service Providers. HPE CTG works across domains of BSS, Network & Video Application, Revenues Intelligence and Fraud Management and System Integration to deliver agility, customer excellence, platform innovation and network leadership.

Candidates profile

The profile we are looking for will work in the Systems Integration & Telco Cloud Practice, is an experienced and enthusiast Telco Cloud & DevOps consultant keen to invest in his/her professional growth learning the implementation of new technologies in the above domains: Telco Cloud, Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Continuous Integration, Deployment and testing (CI/CD/CT) delivered using and integrating HPE Hardware and Software portfolio, Partners product and integrating the customer choice of market technologies.

During His Daily Activites
  • Is responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project. Understands a number of company technologies in order to provide technical systems management support or deliver part of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements. Tasks may include performing systems configurations, troubleshooting systems errors/problems, monitoring and/or testing systems performance, and contribute to the design of technical solutions for customer environments.
  • Works under supervision of technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Acts professionally with company customers. Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers.
  • Understands companys strategy. Is aware of knowledge tools and their application.
  • Participates in chosen technical community or profession, and regularly attends profession or community of interest events. Focuses on single customer. Contributes via assigned tasks on specific projects.
  • The job is in an international context and requires the mastership of English and ideally one more language in addition to local language.
  • The candidate shall be available to travel in the country and Abroad when required.
Education And Experience Required
  • 2 to 5 years of technical experience and an Associate of Engineering/Science or equivalent degree (minimum three year college program) in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, one additional year of relevant technical experience (3-5 years in total).
Knowledge And Skills Required

The person we are looking for is a passionate for technology and innovation, capable of building solid partnership with colleagues and customers to address solutions requirements and deliver high performance in the realization of customer solutions including Design, Engineering and Development of Software and Design, Engineering and Installation and Configuration of IT and TLC systems.

He/She will be in a position to drive solutions, act in advance to envision, design and deliver innovative solution.

The following technical skills are positively valuated
  • Telco Cloud deployments with VIM (VMWare ESX/vCloud, RH OSP or vanilla distributions), and Cloud Native Stacks (VMWare Tanzu, RH OCP or Vanilla K8s),
  • CI CD technologies and artifacts (GitOps/Gitlab, Jenkins, Terraform, Jfrog, others),
  • Infrastructure management and configuration (Ansible, Chef, . Other),
  • Mastering concepts of desired state and intent base,
  • Experience in xNF onboarding and Telco Cloud Platforms operations
  • Able to properly and clearly communicate concepts with team, peers and customers
  • Demonstrates understanding of assigned discipline or technical area.
  • Work with the proper due discipline to reach objectives
