What Were Looking For
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 35 years experience in food safety, compliance, or quality assurance.
- Strong Knowledge of ISO 22000, FSSC, HACCP and relevant legislation
- Auditing certification
- Excellent communication, training and report writing skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Own vehicle & valid drivers license (travelling will be required)
- Develop, implement and monitor food safety management systems
- Conduct regular inspections and audits on interbranch and Customer
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard analysis and implement pre-requisite programmes for each area.
- Investigate and resolve food safety incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Working with various teams promote a culture of food safety.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, investigations and training activities.
- Conduct Mock Recall Drills
- Organize and lead food safety meetings to address issues and opportunities for improvement nationally
- Assist with any other addition duties as required from time to time
- Number of non-conformances identified during internal/external audits with reduction of findings over time
- Improvement in number of customer complaints
- Timeous reporting to management
- Improvement in employee food safety knowledge
- Continuous improvement within the food safety management system
