Role Purpose
The Freelance Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact for our clients. You will oversee communication, coordinate timelines, and manage deliverables across a variety of projects, from corporate shoots to events and lifestyle campaigns. Beyond project management, youll play a key role in business development by identifying upsell opportunities, securing renewals, and supporting financial processes like quotes, invoices, and payment tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for clientshandling bookings, inquiries, and ongoing communication with professionalism and care.
- Manage project timelines, logistics, and deliverables, ensuring smooth collaboration between clients and our photography team.
- Draft quotes, proposals, and contracts, securing sign-offs and keeping projects moving.
- Maintain regular updates for clients while proactively addressing challenges.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities, connecting clients to our broader range of services (e.g., retouching, videography, additional event coverage).
- Manage invoices, payments, and account updates, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-ups.
- Collect client feedback and provide insights to help us improve service delivery.
- Support client retention by fostering long-term, trust-based relationships.
- Prior experience in account management, client services, or project coordination (photography, creative, or agency background a plus).
- A track record of building strong client relationships and supporting business growth.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with social intelligence and emotional awareness.
- Confidence working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
