Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and commercially focused professional to lead and grow our Spend Management division. This role is responsible for driving customer acquisition, increasing revenue, and working cross-functionally to refine our solutions based on market needs. You will play a key leadership role in shaping the future of our spend management offering and expanding our presence across South Africa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Customer Acquisition: Lead our efforts to significantly grow our spend management customer base, with direct responsibility for revenue targets and sales performance.
  • Lead Sales Execution: Work hands-on with prospects and partners to close deals and establish Sava as the obvious choice for modern businesses.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Uncover and prioritise high-potential sectors where our solution can deliver maximum impact.
  • Shape Product Direction: Provide market-driven input to our product team, ensuring our platform evolves to meet customer needs and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Tell Our Story: Become the voice of Sava's spend management solution at industry events, webinars and customer forums.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
  • 5+ years' experience in sales/new business for fintech, SaaS, or banking.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong sales background with a proven ability to drive pipeline growth and close high-volume B2B sales.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial management tools.
  • Solid knowledge of the South African corporate landscape.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead teams and operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
