Job Purpose
To design, build and deploy organisational capability solutions, that will enable the business to align strategy, people, processes and systems; to achieve competitive advantage and an optimal workforce experience. Responsible for leading the design and implementation of multiple and varied solutions and programs of work to deliver on our EVP, Leadership and Desired Culture in varied contexts
Job Responsibilities
- Leverage leading practice organisational capability (OC) and business specific knowledge and expertise to identify and diagnose business problems and opportunities
- Translate these assessments (current, forward and backward looking) into relevant business insights and strategic business implications
- Facilitate proactive OC problem and solution identification processes, with an integrated set of stakeholders across the value chain
- Scope the design and development of integrated capability solutions to deliver desired business results and impact
- Influence the business on the best fit capability solutions for the organisation
- Translate capability solution proposals into detailed execution implications
- Lead the design process, in partnership with identified stakeholders, and deliver completed, fit for purpose, integrated solution designs
- Lead and/or enable the effective execution of capability initiatives and solutions
- Ensure solutions meet the requirements of the business with measurable business impact
- Translate the solutions into end to end OC requirements and plans
- Define and implement workforce transition planning and partnership
- Leverage influence, process facilitation, and advanced stakeholder engagement, political savviness, EQ and interpersonal skills to align stakeholders and enable execution
- Provide leadership advisory and coaching on OC, on a range of OC initiatives and requirements to effectively embed organisational capabilities across the enterprise.
- Leverage behavioural science insights and expertise to design and identify best fit OC solutions.
- Ensure data and insight driven decision making in all initiatives
- Partner proactively with broader product owner teams, in the delivery of OC support for larger scale business vs. HR led transformations
- Build capability through design, facilitation, change and embedment processes across the value chain
- Champion strategic OC initiatives and enable business leaders to embed lasting mindset, behaviour and practice shifts, while consistently improving our employee insights results and workforce experience
- Ensure concrete design and delivery of supporting tools, practices, processes and approaches to enable longer term mindset, behaviour and practice change
- Ensure agile practices and ceremonies are implemented and sustained for effective delivery to business
- Manage product owner relationships including building product owner / business leader / HR team capability to enable balanced and best fit decision making
- Engage proactively with broader enablement functions to drive alignment and leading practice in end to end OC development
- Set and cascade Product and Service direction across the teams and squads for the delivery of the HR strategy and broader workforce experience
- Manage and Apply the organisation risk and governance frameworks
- Identify and mitigate people and business risks associated with large scale initiatives
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- 11 years +
- 10 + Years in business transformation, programme management and organisation capability development;
- Breadth of expertise in building organisational capabilities and the alignment of people, processes, systems in business transformation initiatives
