What You Will Do
- Support customers by executing installation and commissioning of HVAC and chiller equipment, along with performing planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs according to service contracts.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure careful placement of units to minimize damage during installation.
- Upgrade and refurbish equipment as needed, and rigorously test to ensure compliance with system manuals.
- Commission systems and equipment using standard tools and configurations.
- Maintain and repair installed equipment, responding promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshooting issues effectively.
- Provide valuable feedback to improve service and report any failures to the Client Service Manager.
- Identify additional sales opportunities and provide consulting advice to clients for repeat business.
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- A Matric certificate and a Qualified Artisan certificate.
- A valid code B drivers license.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Experience with chillers, specifically units 250KW and higher.
- Knowledge of refrigerants like R134A and R410.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
