Purpose Of The Job

To effectively and efficiently partake in all implementation and transition processes to ensure accurate completion of all client instructions. To assist and support the trade and rebalance team if required. To manage the delivery of high quality services to clients, building effective relationships with internal teams and to promote a culture of high performance, innovation, ambition and continuous improvement within Investment Operations. The successful incumbent will be responsible for implementing all instructions received from clients (investment team and platform). These functions include, but are not limited to, new portfolio take-ons, portfolio restructures, asset transfers and monitoring transactions loaded by the APEX teams. The successful incumbent will report to the Senior Manager Portfolio Administration the Investment Administration area.

Qualifications:
  • National Certificate/Matric
  • Bachelors Degree (3 years - 360 credits) - Financial Market Instruments
Experience
  • Financial Instruments (3-5 years)
  • Implementations / Transitions (3-5 years)
  • Portfolio Administration (3-5 years)
Key Performance Area

Implementations
  • Calculate and execute all required trade instructions
  • Monitor emails to ensure all instructions are seen
  • Use the Transition Management process that entails coordinating the entire process
  • Engage with asset managers and APEX to successfully execute the plan
  • Provide support and assist the Trade and rebalance Team
  • Resolve queries
