Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure resource to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.

Current State Assessments on client systems
Act as technical lead for the technology area
Able to become expert on new technology releases in very short time span
Able to step into consulting role

Requirements

Bring in continuous deployment practices to enhance our Agile posture
Write Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform, Pulumi) using Industry standard tools and services
Write application deployment automation using industry standard deployment and configuration tools
Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines, that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating client test as well as production environments
Provide systems support, including responding to monitoring alerts
Implement and stay abreast of Cloud industry best practices and tooling
Work with developers to identify necessary Azure resources and automate their provisioning
Document automation processes
Cloud virtual networking design and operational experience
Modernizing and migrating on prem workloads to cloud

Qualifications

More than 4 years hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure deployment and support using the following services:

WebApps
App service environment
Function Apps
Logic Apps
App insights
API managements
Azure SQL
Containerization (Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Container Services)
Service Bus
Load Balancers
Traffic Managers
Azure Front Door
Event Hub

Ability to assess the requirement, environment - and suggest right tools / technologies

Hands on experience on Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker and Azure Container Registry

Azure Hands-on experience and administration

Managing incidents & tasks and provide operational review data
Integration into ITSM
Action Groups
Monitoring Alerts
Log Analytics Workspaces
Azure Log query tools (kusto query language)
Knowledge on different monitoring and logging solutions available on Cloud, preferably on Azure

Workload Migration and Modernisation from On-prem to the Cloud

Like-to-Like Migrations, from On-prem to the Cloud
Modernization of legacy systems or IaaS services to PaaS
Cloud Virtual Network Implementation and Administration
Hybrid Cloud Environments
Good understanding on provisioning Azure Landing zones
Virtual Networks
Private Endpoints
Azure DNS
