THE JOB AT A GLANCE

You are a commercially focused leader that is accountable for driving sustainable profitable growth in your portfolio in each of our markets (SA, International and Food Service). You focus relentlessly on positioning and building a portfolio, delivering against strategic financial performance metrics, and have a deep understanding of how different levers impact the income statement and balance sheet, and striving towards achieving top ranked positions in each of our markets. You also set the beat for the wider business, working closely with partners in R&D, Customer, Group Marketing, Supply Chain, and support functions to ensure they deliver against the portfolio strategy and business plan, while building an exceptional cross-functional team.

What You Will Do

• Strategic Direction & Execution: Define, align, and deliver the business strategy to drive long-term growth and competitive advantage.
• Commercial & Financial Delivery: Lead the business to meet or exceed financial targets, ensuring full P&L accountability and strong cost management.
• Leadership & Culture: Build and inspire a high-performing, values-driven leadership team. Champion a culture of inclusion, accountability, and collaboration.
• Customer & Market Growth: Strengthen customer relationships, deepen market insights, and translate these into opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Operational Excellence & Agility: Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and responsiveness to market dynamics and internal challenges.
• Governance & Risk Management: Uphold strong corporate governance, manage business risks proactively, and ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Key Attributes and Competencies

• Commercial acumen with demonstrated success at managing a P&L, managing the end-to-end value chain, from marketing and sales through to supply chain and back office to deliver against set KPIs.
• General Management Skills across the value chain
• Entrepreneurial good understanding of consumer and market trends, and an ability to identify and drive new opportunities for the portfolio
• Stakeholder Management & Influencing ability to manage, influence and negotiate with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders, including customers
• Tiger Leadership Competencies - Lead Self, People, Performance, Innovation and Partnerships

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

• Prior experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales or Marketing or as a Managing Director, (with full P&L accountability), with evidence that you are results driven, self-motivated, resourceful and entrepreneurial
• Proven ability to develop and strengthen teams in order to maximize profitability and deliver against objectives
• Emerging Market experience across multiple segments
• Post-Graduate Commercial Degree
