Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Quality control
• Involvement in the operational aspects of the department
• Mechanical design and layout work
• Producing drawings for manufacturing
• Coordinating routine and planned maintenance
• Liaising with various service providers
• Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and facilitating repairs
• Willingness to get hands dirty assisting with engineering requirements

Qualifying Experience

• A relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification relevant working experience
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
• Proficiency in CAD
• Have a valid drivers license and a reliable motor vehicle

• Ability to work independently and in a team
