Job Description

Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.

Preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates.

Coordinate the quality control programs with the assistance of the Quality Assurance Manager.

Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to the Contracts Manager.

Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote a safety culture among the ranks throughout the company.

Hiring and supervising the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.

Minimum Requirements

BTech/ Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum of 4-7 years experience in the Civil Engineering industry (Asphalt and road rehabilitation experience is a prerequisite)

Registered with ECSA as a Professional Civil Engineer, Technologist or Technician.

Or registered with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager or Professional Construction Manager.

Own vehicle will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
