Purpose of Job:
- To drive sales and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Efforts directly contribute to the overall success of the business development and client acquisition strategies.
- Responsible for generating leads, managing client interactions, processing orders and invoices, promoting products and resolving client issues.
Client Interaction -
- Make calls to new and existing clients to place orders and follow up on their requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
- Handle client calls, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Accurately record and process client orders in the system.
- Ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner and confirm order details with clients.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team issues, special deliveries etc.
- Generate and process invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure invoices are printed the same day.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, accepting payments, processing, posting, and recording debtors account data.
- Inform clients about special offers, discounts, and new products.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Generate leads and feed them to Business Development Consultants for further action.
- Support client acquisition efforts by identifying and nurturing potential opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of product categories, suggest alternatives, inform customers of shortages, continuously improve knowledge, and seek assistance for training when needed.
- Address and resolve any client complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaise with internal departments to facilitate quick and effective solutions to client problems.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and issues for future reference.
- Act as the primary interface between the customers, and internal operations teams. Ensure fluid communication and coordination to support project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance in all aspects of the role to maintain integrity and uphold organizational standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the packaging or related industry.
- Computer literate.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- R15 000 - R18 000 Basic Salary.
- Commission/incentive offered
- Hours : Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 and Friday 8:00 - 15:00
