Role Description
To meet the demands of future technological development in the glass forming process.
Responsibilities
- Be willing to complete structured training on IS machine operation.
- Portray a good understanding of glass quality requirements.
- Identifies and takes action to correct problems affecting production.
- Be part of the line team to achieve production and quality targets.
- Plays an active role in Mission Directed Work Teams.
- Be willing to perform shift work and work overtime as per operational requirements.
- Matric (pre-requisite) plus relevant technical qualification (preference will be given to unemployed graduates in technical fields including Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Operations Management, Quality Management, or related mechanical trades including Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Boilermaker, etc).
- Min 1 to 2 Years experience in a similar technical/production environment a pre-requisite.
- Strong Mechanical Comprehension.
- Coping with Pressures and set backs.
- Problem solving and Analysis.
- Delivering Results and Meeting customer expectations.
- Team Orienation.
