Payroll Administrator

Global Forwarding Freight South Africa has an opening for a Payroll Administrator where you will provide day-to-day administrative support for Payroll activities with the objective of accurate and timely employee payments in line with readily available advice, quality standards and timelines for Vinliner and Flexitank Division. In this Payroll Administrator position
  • You will send out Attendance register as per emails received from Divisions purpose: fire fighters record and production planning.
  • You will monitor clock machine (Clocking system: Simplex Time Recorders Time log) and import clocking information to payroll system.
  • You will update attendance excel report and insert leave/sick leave/f/leave on clocking system.
  • You will ensure pay slips are accurate and handed out timeously before pay date .
  • You will provide payroll related information when required by management with regards staff information.
  • Yu will process salaries as well as payments onto Pastell.
  • You will prepare all statutory reports for SARS, MEIBC, Trade Union, Provident Fund and Medical Benefits to ensure accurate payments are made.
  • You will be the contact person for Flexicare Discovery: New members/queries.
  • You will provide Absent Report and Overtime Report to Finance Manager
  • You will be responsible for IODs - Handle all paperwork (doctors/ Dept of Labour).
  • You will assist HR Manager with admin duties relating to: Interviews, Terminations and Contracts.
  • You will prepare Intercompany Spreadsheets for all revenue accounts for Intercompany purposes.
  • You will ccommunicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
  • You will address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships.
  • You will prepare employee welcome packs, which is to be handed to new employees on start date.
  • You will ensure that completed documentation is received back from new employees and handed to payroll before payroll deadline.
  • You will follow up with new employees on progress of on-boarding training.
  • You will Carry out Admin duties/Switch Board when- required.
  • You will order office consumables: kitchen stock/toilet paper and hand towel.
  • You will prepare Essential cleaners monthly absent report and Transport (overtime) invoice for payment
  • You will be an OHSAS Team Member (Health and Safety) and EE Team Member (Employment Equity Committee).
  • You will be a SDF Facilitator: Arrange all training/record keeping of all training (internal & external
  • You will deal with Employment Confirmation (when need arises).
  • You will prepare Data Quality of HR/OHS reports for HR Manager who in turn needs to input these items in CREST.
