The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
Accurate preparation and completion of monthly payrolls;
Completion of month-end reports;
Attending to payroll queries in a professional manner;
Administering payroll verifications and audits;
Ad hoc duties as assigned by management from time to time;
General payroll administration;
Active participation in the continuous workplace improvement program;
Adhere to Astrals ethics policy;
Maintaining and implementing 20 Keys principles.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
Matric;
A tertiary qualification or at least 3 years experience in similar environment;
Extensive Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience;
Maintain confidentiality at all times;
Excellent administration skills and problem-solving skills;
Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence;
Strong administrative, accurate record keeping and time management skills;
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and must be fully bilingual;
Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary;
It is essential that the successful candidate be self-motivated with the ability to meet
strict deadlines;
