- Planning, Scheduling and monitoring job progress and work in progress (WIP) by using an appropriate planning system
- Planning cost elements on service jobs (Labour, Parts and Bought-outs)
- Achievement of maximum productivity and profitability
- Apply warranty policies and procedures, including service warranty
- Issuing or job instructions to and dispatching of artisans (briefing)
- Initiation and control of Bought Out requests
- Control returning of component stands
- Follow up on parts, quotes and service reports
- Assist with achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Assist with effective control of cost centre expenses and Work-in-Progress
- Apply Warranty policies and procedures, including Warranty decisions and Service Warranty investigations.
- Resolve internal and external customer queries
- Trade certificate (Diesel or Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic)
- Minimum 3 years post-apprentice / learnership experience.
- Computer Literacy (MS Office, SIS, STW / ET)
- SAP knowledge advantageous
- Good communication skills and customer relations
- Must be a Team player and be willing to work overtime
