Assembly Process Engineer

Key Performance Areas

• Provide management with the information with which they can effectively manage the company's resources
• Improve productivity and scrap rates within the areas of delegated responsibility
• Manage the continued planning and implementation of process optimization
• Ensure continued compliance to the company's business requirements, customer specific requirements such as quality, health and safety, environmental and prevailing legislative requirements
• Control plans and provide necessary technical input and problem-solving using 8D process for potential and actual process failures
• Manage process engineering projects and resolve engineering problems with internal departments and OEMs
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Electrical/Mechatronic/Technical Diploma/Degree with 3+ years' experience
• Electrical/Mechatronic Trade Tested with 5+ years' experience
• Computer Literacy MS Office (Powerpoint, Word and Excel)
• High speed assembly process and equipment knowledge and experience
• PLC and Yaskawa Robot programming experience
• Ultrasonic, Hotplate and Vibration Welding experience
• Working knowledge of electro pneumatics equipment design
• FMEA and Control Plan knowledge and experience
