Type: Hybrid in Cape Town (3 days in office)

Responsibilities:

Software Development Leadership:

• Dive deep into the codebase to inform feature scoping and development.
• Champion consistent standards across the tech stack and encourage reusable design.
• Align technical design with business goals and user needs.
• Drive automation for new and existing code testing.
• Communication and Problem-Solving:
• Collaborate with internal and external clients to define functional requirements and scope new features.
• Advise on system infrastructure enhancements and process improvements.
• Facilitate seamless integration between development teams and vendors.
• Ensure clear and professional system documentation.
• Team Leadership and Planning:
• Assist in team growth planning, including outsourced development partners.
• Guide technological and process changes within the team.
• Provide technical mentorship as the team expands.

Requirements:

Experience:

• 10+ years of relevant experience with codebase ownership.
• Proficiency in integrating 3rd Party SDKs and APIs.
• Leadership experience with cross-functional teams and scalable web/mobile app launches.
• Background in construction, building services, or electronic security (preferred).
• Previous senior-level full-stack development (advantageous).
• Knowledge and Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in C#, Angular, JavaScript, .Net Core & Framework, SQL, MongoDB, SwiftUI for iOS, and Kotlin for Android.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, and development planning.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical scopes and manage complex functionality deliveries.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and flexible with a collaborative approach.
• Desirable:
