Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounting function and financial reporting processes.
- Supervise daily accounts activities and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal use and external stakeholders.
- Manage working capital requirements and engage with local and international banks.
- Coordinate the preparation of documents for funding and trade finance.
- Provide financial input into business plans and feasibility studies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Manage and mentor a small finance team to ensure effective delivery and growth
- Minimum of 8 years relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Experience dealing with banks, trade finance, and foreign exchange (forex).
- Proven experience preparing financials for local and international use.
- BCom Accounting, completed CIMA or SAIPA/Professional Accountant qualification
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
