Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with flowcharts, user stories, or low-fidelity wireframes to produce high-fidelity designs or prototypes for front-end development.
- Document development requirements clearly, specify details, and produce production-ready assets for development handovers.
- Create, review, and evaluate wireframes and user flows as needed.
- Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow designers.
- Adapt designs based on user feedback and insights from testing.
- Advocate for consistent, user-friendly designs across various devices, apps, and tools.
- Define interactions and animations for screens, incorporating user feedback and adhering to industry best practices.
- Create prototypes of varying complexity for fast, iterative user feedback using the most appropriate tools.
- Design with consideration for multilingual users, varying abilities and cultural sensitivities.
- Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders to provide solutions with business requirements.
- Obtain sign-off from the relevant manager or team lead for finalized work.
- Develop and maintain a pattern library or design system to ensure consistency across all interface components.
- Plan, conduct, and analyse user research to gather insights on user behaviour, needs, and pain points to inform design decisions.
- Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, technological advancements, and industry changes to influence designs.
- Contribute to the overall organizational strategy by maintaining operational awareness and offering design input.
- Information architecture: Structure content and navigation to ensure it aligns with users mental models and supports ease of use.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A relevant Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology or Computer Science
- Highly proficient in Figma
- Minimum 5-7 years working experience in UI/UX Design
- A comprehensive portfolio with case studies
- Ability to design attractive, intuitive and functional user interfaces
- Front-end / Low code website building experience highly advantageous
- (HTML, CSS, Javascript / Webflow, Framer
- Passionate about the end user
- Excellent attention to detail
- Appetite for research and a data-first approach
- Ability to design responsive layouts for any device size using a grid system
- Knowledge of best practices and common UX Design patterns
- Ability to create interactive prototypes for user testing (e.g. Protopine, Figma)

- Understanding of industry best practices and design-thinking methodology for problem-solving
