SUPERINTENDENT TALENT MANAGEMENT AND ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT - MINING (NORTHERN CAPE)

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Are you a seasoned HR professional with a strong background in the mining sector. Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent Talent Manager to lead their HR team in the Kathu area. This is a remarkable opportunity to make a significant impact on HR operations within the mining industry. As the Superintendent Talent Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing HR strategies, talent management, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Utilizing your Honours Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology to drive HR excellence.
  • Leveraging your 5 years of operational HR Practitioner Generalist experience in areas such as EE, recruitment, training/HRD, ER, and OD/Talent management within a mining environment.
  • Demonstrating your 3 years of HR management experience in team leader/project leader/supervisor capacity.
  • Applying your 2 years of operational Psychometrist experience to enhance talent assessments.
  • Employing your skills in SDF facilitation, MQA assessment, OD practices, and psychometric assessments.
  • Implementing succession planning and mentoring initiatives for sustained talent development.
Requirements

To excel in this role and contribute to the growth of the mining industry, you should meet the following criteria:
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in operational HR Practitioner Generalist roles within mining.
  • A background in HR management, demonstrated through at least 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in psychometric assessment and familiarity with assessment products.
  • Proficiency in SDF facilitation, MQA assessment, OD practices, and psychometric assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of profiling and grading systems for talent evaluation.
  • Training and expertise in management, supervision, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Familiarity with MQA reporting and grant claiming processes.
