Systems Analyst

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Systems Analyst within the Corporate Services division in Pretoria, Gauteng.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Interpret business requirement specifications and translate it into a detailed system design specification / technical specification
• Develop System / Functional Documentation, operations manuals, systems processes, and technical designs, being accountable for their completion
• Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
• Carry out acceptance testing of new or updated software applications by developing test data and calculating expected results
• Responsible for the execution of programs and procedures, as well as the review and evaluation of output and systems
• Responsible for technical system support throughout the TWK Group

Qualifications And Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Relevant technical or business qualification degree / diploma
• A minimum of 5 years experience in RPG / Systems development
• SQL/400 knowledge essential
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of Agricultural industry (Advantageous)
• Analyse, resolve difficult/complex system issues, by working with the end-users and other IT support staff
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for details
• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
