SUMMARY:
My client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to take charge of daily operations, drive efficiency, and ensure seamless inventory control in a fast-paced environment. POSITION INFO:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee and maintain accurate stock control and inventory management.
- Manage receiving and dispatch processes with urgency and precision.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards.
- Coordinate logistics for all incoming and outgoing stock, with a focus on equipment handling.
- Handle client communication and resolve stock-related queries effectively.
- Prepare reports, conduct stock counts, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Operate or supervise forklift use (forklift license highly advantageous)
- 35 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, including staff and process management.
- Proven track record in maintaining inventory accuracy and strong warehouse controls.
- Experience using ERP systems (especially Pastel), with solid skills in MS Excel and Outlook.
- Forklift license preferred.
- High attention to detail, team leadership skills, and ability to perform under pressure.
- Firm, assertive personality with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
